I will also use this great opportunity to briefly talk about some of my more recent projects, however at a later time feel free - but not pressured to use the link below for my website which gives a more in-depth explanation of each. My Subject Realisation was the last brief of my course. The concept of this project is that for the final year each student is given the opportunity to work on something independently, some choose subjects that are personal and close to their hearts, and others design a brief in which they hope to use in gaining employment. My brief is designed around advertisement, my reason for doing so would be that marketing / advertisement combines a range of skills and techniques that aid in solving problems.

After collecting a variety of primary research, I decided I would market a watch manufactured by GARMIN, I selected this manufacturer as when compared to the other hybrid watch developers, GARMIN at the time wasn’t been promoted enough, not only this but I also felt that any promotional material produced including packaging was very reminiscent of other manufacturers such as Apple - I believed that a watch that is capable of so much more, should not be packaged or advertised in the same way either, this concept fed into my tagline “more than just a watch” which then spiralled and formed the base for my later designs and final mockups!
