I am a versatile designer and part time illustrator. My top strength is listening to clients, communicating their desire, and...

My goal for ASBO was to make a magazine that fit their name and showed my own talent in illustration, word placement and graphic making. I had taken the photos given to us and the articles and made them into my own. Starting with reading about Aris Van Calster and finding out how she likes to push the ‘normal’ stereotypical look of a woman and mix it up. Which can anger some but also inspire someone like me to create something from it. The images were so out there and loud that the type had to be plainer to balance it out.

My aim here was to create a whole new level of produce. Thinking about how it would display, advertise, and be used. JDO RAW created a competition brief to redesign and create a classic essential item from the supermarket. I created an herb and spice company based on a fictional story about a father who was a chef that loved herbs and spices in his fresh food. I thought about how the labels would display, how it would stack on the shelf and in cupboards, the typography would be seen in cupboards and its recyclability.
